I once had a job selling knives and my best closer was from "The Wolf of Wall Street". What can I say? I get motivated by movies.I believe there's knowledge everywhere you look. My passion is to learn from as many areas of expertise as possible and apply those practices to my career. Though many people find it odd to not be consistent with jobs, I view it as opportunities to expand on present businesses. Heck, while preparing for an interview, I challenged myself to see if I could get more young people interested in shipbuilding; my solution: have an influencer present and an active social media presence. Has an undergraduate in Industrial Engineering; experience and training in many areas. Through schooling, I learned the fundamentals of Ergonomics, OSCHA certified, trained in Construction Law, and became LSU Communicator certified through a series of courses, presentations, and career fairs. My early job opportunities consisted of different industries that differ from what I graduated in such as Sales, Entertainment, Construction. I enriched my sales abilities through Vector Marketing, while also increasing office sales along with my personal Sales. After a couple hard months, I was awarded a position as an Assistant Manager where I recruited, trained, and mentored on how to sell our products. The entertainment experience with Lucky Coin Machine Co. provided me with the knowledge on how to keep a clients interest intact; therefore always keeping consistency with profits and equipment status. Construction; however, conveyed the importance of time-sensitive projects, organization, and employee dependency. Working within the offices and shadowing Project Managers showed me how important employee moral is when working toward completing a project. The latest of my experiences, though not the last, is with Bollinger Shipyards, LLC where I developed the ability to create and manage proposals, create intellectual assessments on material and bid pricing, and manage multiple projects alongside a team of other engineers and architects. Currently seeking career opportunities in and around the Louisiana area.
