Ninth year guitar student under Mellad Abeid and Paul Grove at Gonzaga University, fourth year student at Central Valley High School. Last year at CVHS I completed both Cybersecurity and Tech Literacy which have furthered both my knowledge and interest in technology. My passion for guitar and technology have guided me toward the music industry. I plan to attend Belmont University where I will work toward a bachelor’s degree in audio engineering.Central Valley High School taught me the importance of diversifying my skill set. Gaining knowledge across multiple fields has allowed me to solve problems in a different way and helped me decide on a specific career path. My interest in audio engineering sprouted from my love for guitar and tinkering with audio equipment. This year I have learned skills in AWS, HTML, Javascript, Python, and Pro Tools. I am continually learning about mixing, DAWs, acoustics, and programming. Next year, I hope to shadow a professional audio engineer to gain experience in the industry and further my knowledge concerning the field.

I work at Gizmo-CDA part time by teaching the yearly Build a Guitar camp. We teach kids 13-17 how to use CAD, CAM, CNC routers, planers, jointers, sanders, drill presses, and various other tools. We take them through the entire process of creating an electric guitar starting with just a block of wood and ending with a fully-functional instrument.
