Ninth year guitar student under Mellad Abeid and Paul Grove at Gonzaga University, fourth year student at Central Valley High School. Last year at CVHS I completed both Cybersecurity and Tech Literacy which have furthered both my knowledge and interest in technology. My passion for guitar and technology have guided me toward the music industry. I plan to attend Belmont University where I will work toward a bachelor’s degree in audio engineering.Central Valley High School taught me the importance of diversifying my skill set. Gaining knowledge across multiple fields has allowed me to solve problems in a different way and helped me decide on a specific career path. My interest in audio engineering sprouted from my love for guitar and tinkering with audio equipment. This year I have learned skills in AWS, HTML, Javascript, Python, and Pro Tools. I am continually learning about mixing, DAWs, acoustics, and programming. Next year, I hope to shadow a professional audio engineer to gain experience in the industry and further my knowledge concerning the field.
