Supervised a team of fifteen Electricians, Instrument Technicians and Assemblers in the wiring and testing of complex electrical control and data acquisition systems used on large mobile oil field equipment. This included D/C wiring to control large industrial Caterpillar engines as well as the A/C wiring for gensets and lighting.

Worked in a maintenance team setting with millwrights, heavy-duty mechanics, machinists and electricians to complete maintenance tasks on mobile oilfield equipment. Although my main focus was on the electrical side of maintenance, I was also expected to work on mechanical tasks as well. I.E Working with Heavy Duty mechanics to remove and install a 2500HP Twin Disc transmission from a pumper.

As the Electrical Supervisor at IKO, I led a team of electricians that completed electrical and instrumentation maintenance work in a safe and efficient manner on a large industrial site. In this role, I planned and scheduled all the required maintenance tasks using Maximo scheduling software. I completed safety audits on a daily basis and was a management representative on the Joint Health and Safety Committee. During this time I was the Radiation Safety Officer for the site.

I worked with a team of professionals that developed specifications for new equipment builds. I communicated with the OEM providers to ensure they understood and followed all Calfrac specifications throughout the equipment build. I travelled to the different OEM facilities to inspect and test the equipment before it was accepted. I also supported the different Calfrac stations with maintenance and troubleshooting queries.

Russian Federation

While in Russia I worked closely with the Maintenance Managers to take care of four fleets of hydraulic fracturing equipment, service rigs, coil tubing units and camp equipment. Since Siberia is so isolated I was able to gain valuable experience in all the different aspects of equipment maintenance where I had to come up with safe, creative methods to solve various electrical and mechanical issues.

Crown was a leading manufacturer of high quality mobile oil field equipment ; more specifically service rigs, drilling rigs and all the various types of hydraulic fracturing equipment.

I was an Electrician in the Calgary fabrication facility and an Electrical Supervisor in Russia. While in Russia I completed all electrical maintenance and troubleshooting work as well as operating the Data Van during fracturing operations. In the Calgary facility, I wired and tested new equipment and completed maintenance tasks on existing equipment.
