Logistics Operations Chief
Current-Advise, mentor, and coach three senior officers and two company-grade officers, the Senior Department head of the Logistics Section, Department Operations officer, and Senior Analyst – all senior officers, on all logistical support matters for the 1st Marine Aircraft Wing (1st MAW).-Conduct long-term logistical planning for all training operations and daily duties involving 1st MAW forces, facilitating Operational Planning Teams (OPTs), participating in Operations and Logistics Synchronization meetings, and attending Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) events.-Review and validate budget data for 15 training, education, and employment plan events, managing a budget exceeding $100M across four Marine Aircraft Groups (MAGs).-Handpicked to lead the relocation of the TPS-80 radar from Okinawa to Ishigaki Island, coordinating with various partners and high-level executive teams to manage complex geopolitical factors and ensure smooth support; enable the first deployment of a critical sensor and improve operational collaboration with Indo-Pacific region partners. -Lead logistics and aviation ground support (AGS) planning for 6 training events across the Indo-Pacific region, developing a resource allocation plan, managing force flow for three MAGs, and creating support concepts for multiple locations, resulting in the successful movement and sustainment of over 5,000 personnel.
