I have worked with students as young as 10 and as old as 55 in subjects ranging from pre-algebra, to multivariable calculus, SAT/GRE prep, differential equations, linear algebra, university level physics and statics (in the context of engineering). I was responsible for managing accounts, selling tutoring packages, scheduling, and generally helping my students feel successful in their pursuits while helping them achieve their personal goals.

I was working under Dr. Paul Schmidtke analyzing spectroscopy data from the MACHO program searching for non radial pulsating stars

I worked under Dr. Paul Schmidtke and Dr. Ann Cowley looking at spectroscopy data attained from the MACHO program in an attempt to find non radial pulsating stars (NRPs) using Fortran based code.I was responsible for analysis of incoming data that had been flagged as possible NRP's by Dr. Schmidtke and was responsible for making my own schedule and meeting deadlines. I worked as a tutor in the learning resource center at ASU. I taught individuals and small groups physics and mathematics from basic algebra through calculus, differential equations, and basic analytical mathematics.

I worked under Dr. Peter Bennett at ASU's high resolution electron microscopy lab. I was responsible for quantizeing video data obtained from electron microscopes related to nano scale thermo-migrations.

I was responsible to taking video data and quantizing it using simple java script programs. Once this was done I helped to interpret this data, using mathematical modeling, to help study nano scale thermo migration. I worked in a team of two that was largely autonomous. Much of our work was outside of the lab doing research in attempts to find creative solutions. Our results were later published in Physical Review B.
