During my time with Haynes (now Primec) as the divisional HSEQ Advisor my key responsibilities included:- Collaborate with senior management and HSEQ team members to develop and implement HSEQ policies, procedures, and programs aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.- Conduct regular risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential health, safety, environmental, and quality risks, and develop strategies to mitigate and manage these risks effectively.- Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations, standards, and guidelines through regular audits, inspections, and evaluations.- Develop and deliver HSEQ training programs and initiatives to educate employees on relevant policies, procedures, and best practices, fostering a culture of safety and compliance.- Lead investigations into health, safety, environmental, and quality incidents, identify root causes, and develop corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor HSEQ performance, track progress, and identify areas for improvement.- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including management, employees, and contractors, to promote HSEQ awareness, engagement, and accountability throughout the organization.- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to health, safety, environmental, and quality management systems, processes, and practices.- Develop, implement and maintain Quality Management Systems which have achieved and maintained ISO 9001 accreditation.

Reporting to the CEO I was directly responsible for the effective management of Harrup Park as a multi use sports facility in Mackay, NQ. My role responsibilities could be split into two main focus areas.Firstly I was the Grounds Department Manager and oversaw the daily operations of our team of 6 full time groundskeepers. Throughout the calendar year the team manages the preparation of nine turf cricket wickets, as well as six astro turf cricket fields for local content ranging from entry level juniors to competitive senior men's and women's formats. In the winter months the team prepare three AFL fields for use by AFL Mackay competitions.Further to the localised content the facility hosts elite content up to Tier 2 level cricket events (WBBL, Cricket Australia National Underage Championships) as well as elite AFL content (JLT Community Series and AFLW fixtures). It was my responsibilty to facilitate this content at Harrup Park in collaboration with our club operations and the sporting bodies. The final aspect of this is the facility management of our property comprising of plant & equipment, infrastructure maintenance and improvement planning.Secondly, during the summer months I also served as the Operations Manager for Mackay Cricket Association and managed eleven competitions ranging from entry level junior to senior men's and women's programs. This management included results, competitions, sponsorship, fixturing, financial etc.I thoroughly enjoyed this expansive role and value the additional knowledge and experience I have gained through managing a Sports Turf operation.

In addition to my previous role at LOTW/GW Camp as a camp counsellor I directed the daily operations of the Waterski Dock for these camps.This entailed managing all aspects of instruction including in water coaching, equipment use, driver management as well ensuring all safety procedures were adhered to.
