This advancement concludes a successful 13-year tenure with Bruce Grau & Associates, Inc. and provides Blake both the opportunity and the resources to enhance his client service model while partnering with a nearly 150 year old platform of tradition and service. MDP’s core values of service to a wide variety of industries, creation of special programs to serve niche markets, and the flexibility to evolve to meet our clients' needs, align with Blake’s ideals as well. There is hardly a business, industrial or professional insurance situation that has not presented itself to Blake or the team at MDP- and they are both experienced in tailoring solutions to a diverse clientele with complex property and casualty insurance as well as proper risk management needs. Complimented by the robust team of nearly 100 employees, MDP affords Blake the flexibility and authority to provide comprehensive brokerage solutions to all of his clients.Blake currently resides in Monkton, MD, where for 15 years, he was a professional horseman. I was the barn foreman and lead rider for preparing horses from post-breaking to a full racing schedule. Was in charge of training colts and fillies to load into and learn to break from a starting gate.I coordinated the riders to breeze sets of horses in the morning.I helped to manage the staff of 15 employees’ to cares for upwards of 40 horses in training.

Took raw property from undeveloped parcels to recorded plat and sold to end user.

Armature Jockey for the Steeplechase training stables of Jack Fisher.I managed all aspects, with a team of other horseman and jockey’s, the daily operations of a 30-40 horse stable.
