Over 28 years experience in high technology investment banking and the semiconductor industry. Equally successful at investment banking in my own firm as a General Partner at Robertson Stephens & Co. RS&Co specialized in high technology and medical technology IPO’s, venture capital investments and M&A transactions. I was involved in corporate finance, venture capital investing and public market research. Among RS&Co’s many clients during my tenure were Seagate, Komag, Cypress Semiconductor, and Genentech. I’ve served on the boards of directors of several privately held companies. I’ve also had extensive expert witness experience and taught a popular MBA/undergraduate entrepreneurship course at Santa Clara University. I’ve been an active investor in both public and private investments for myself and various family members since 1977, always with a focus on high technology and medical technology.
