Network DeploymentPrimary job focus of remediation of existing network elements and deployment of new network elements to existing facilities in our corporate office and our ~200 hospital systems.Network element focus includes centralized wireless systems, centralized VoIP systems, network security systems, site interconnectivity and intraconnectivity, and structured switch fabric.

I began this job as replacement linux admin for one of the two existing systems employees. In this time, we have at my suggestion implemented centralized storage, eventually growing to encompass replicated SAN backed storage. In a month or two, we will have completed a project I initiated to migrate from our existing vastly overpriced datacenter, to two geographically diverse datacenters with a unified ARIN allocated IP space, increasing our service and uptime capabilities dramatically, while remaining almost budget neutral.In addition, we have as of November '12, migrated completely to a virtualized platform that I designed and built, with no remaining legacy physical servers.
