As the Student Pastor and Teaching Pastor at Dalton First United Methodist Church, I was hired to revitalize student ministry and provide a renewed focus on the spiritual growth and development of the youth in our church. In this role, I organize events, teach and communicate with students, recruit volunteers, build teams, and create a supportive environment to help them grow in their faith. Through weekly lessons and regular communication via email and social media, I keep everyone informed about upcoming events and activities, and inspire others to join us in our mission to shape the spiritual growth of the students.

As the host of the ReThinking Christianity Podcast, I am responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the show. My job involves scheduling interviews with guests and publishing companies, writing scripts, and editing both audio and video content. In addition, I create various forms of social media content, including graphics, long-form videos, and short-form videos, to engage with our listeners and followers. By collaborating with our team and producing high-quality content, we work towards our goal of creating a thought-provoking and engaging podcast that explores important issues related to Christianity and its role in society.

As part of my role as the Student Pastor of the Chatsworth Campus at Rockbridge Community Church, I was responsible for hosting Sunday morning services on an as-needed basis, in addition to my other duties.Working alongside a team of six other student pastors, I was responsible for planning and organizing the overall student ministry for Rockbridge Community Church as a whole. This included coordinating and executing student programs and activities across multiple church sites, mentoring and counseling students in their spiritual growth and development, and leading and facilitating Sunday church services.Along with building and maintaining relationships with students and their families, I managed budgets and expenses related to student programs. By working collaboratively with my team and creating a welcoming and supportive environment, we were able to foster a sense of community and inspire students to grow in their faith.
