Dedicates one Saturday out of the month to teach and coach young students on manners and etiquette.

Was a liaison between the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association and the State wide association. Traveled nationally to engage in electric cooperative conferences. Represented SC in Washington D.C. and San Diego.
