For the last 2 years, I have been consumed with creating content and upholding high-quality broadcasts for multiple organizations including, Ottawa University, the Hamilton Joes, and KOFO RadioI am a detail-oriented college graduate with a BA in Communications from Ottawa University with a graduation date of April 30, 2023.During the course of my academic career, I also managed to accrue nearly 2 years of work experience covering 3 baseball seasons for separate organizations as well as several other sports broadcasts.In the summer of 2021, I created my own internship working for the Smoky Mountain Collegiate League where I reached out to the commissioner of the league to create a broadcast for the summer league. I provided my own equipment and learned valuable skills as well as a passion for the art of broadcast.Currently, I have the privilege of working for The Campus, the oldest student ran newspaper in Kansas, as a writer and producer, during my time here I have started my own show called Otter Talk. This show mimics a Sportscenter style for Ottawa University athletics and has given me a way to hone my interviewing and video editing skills which have since grown a fire inside of me for content creation.Whether working on academic projects, competing collegiately at Ottawa University in baseball for two years, or professionally in my 2 years of experience, I have applied proven problem-solving, teamwork, and multitasking skills, which I hope to leverage into bringing value to your company
