With NHK of America Suspension Components, garnered a series of promotions to positions of increased influence, authority, and accountability. Planned and executed initiatives designed to increase reliability and expand capabilities at the world’s largest suspension coil spring manufacturing facility. Managed three direct reports and an overall headcount of 30 employees, while administering a $3M annual repair and maintenance budget, as well as a $2.5M annual electricity budget.Led the design and implementation of an $18M coil spring line expansion, leading line layout design, specifications, and the selection of domestic and international vendors.Achievements included the delivery of over $2M in electrical cost savings by securing a TVA electrical investment rebate.

Directed projects relating to capital improvements, facility improvements, and the implementation of new systems and equipment.Secured a TVA electrical investment rebate that led to over $1.5M in electrical cost savings.Initiatives included a facility lighting improvement project with a 12-month ROI including a TVA energy use reduction grant.Led the design and installation of a $16M coil spring line expansion, fully integrated and automated with 18 Motoman robots and featuring technology that was never before used in the facility.Designed engineered conveyor chain transfers as well as plastic belt conveyor systems for product transfers.Planned, configured, and launched the MP2 maintenance management system, which controls all facets of plant maintenance, and expanded the system to enable communications with production and purchasing. Lowered machine line downtime by 10% by designing a novel pneumatic exit paddle for the tempering furnace.
