I began as a general assignment reporter tasked with a specific emphasis on covering federal law enforcement. Broke numerous stories about cases involving Ponzi schemes, terrorism, fraud and trade secret thefts. In 2015, management assigned me as a co-anchor to our Sunday evening broadcasts for the remainder my time at WSOC. I also contributed investigative stories and worked closely alongside managers and our media attorney to craft impactful and thoroughly researched pieces which led to legislative action.

I began working on our morning newscast before shifting to a dayside reporting position. Station management selected me to work with NBC News on its 'Education Nation' tour stop in New Orleans. I also contributed as an investigative reporter and fill-in anchor.

I wrote and anchored digital video pieces that juxtaposed news coverage of events across multiple media sources. I spent a significant amount of time working on our politics team and also worked on our Huffington Post projects.

I reported, anchored and produced for a variety of dayparts. I focused on covering the Missouri Legislature. I also performed the following roles: Supervising Producer, Special Projects Producer, ENG Technician, Video Editor, Photojournalist & Assignment Editor.

My primary responsibility was oversight of the several stations housed within the Columbia, Missouri offices of Zimmer Radio Group while also performing on-air for our CHR station Y107 (KTXY-FM). I was responsible for initial troubleshooting of any technical issues as well as logging and monitoring transmission data. I also filled in as a producer for Mizzou Basketball games on KTGR-AM & filled in for weekday personalities on Y107.
