Hi, my name is Blake! I hold a bachelor's degree in political science and another in Sociology. Currently, I am a Digital Coach for Walmart in Coventry, Rhode Island. My passions in the retail field are talent development, data analysis and results based metric delivery. I have worked for Walmart since July 2018 and have been a salaried manager since January 2023. During my time with Walmart, I have emphasized the importance of People and utilized a swim upstream mentality to develop associates, tackle challenges and drive results. Additionally, I also have 2 years of research experience with the University of Rhode Island, including data analysis, research ethics and organizational recruitment. As for my career goals, I hope further my career with Walmart and broaden my knowledge with roles that have greater responsibility and opportunities for diverse experience. In my free time, I like to travel and engage with outdoor spaces, my community and those around me. One of my strengths is data analysis, where I have excelled at analyzing business metrics, creating solutions-based action plans, and coding research transcriptions. Another of my strengths is People, which I have honed by active engagement in total facility hiring/recruiting, talent development and by having an open door of communication with associates.
