  Hired as a quality control coordinator to inspect welds, follow WWPS procedures, coordinate and lead  subcontractors in NDE testing including: post-weld heat treat, penetrant testing, magnetic partial testing,  ultrasonic testing, and x-ray examination. Supervised units being repaired or created in a safe and timely manner in multiple chemical plants including Exxon, Shell, Valero, LyondellBasell, Covestro, Arkema, Ascend, and Ineos.  - Interpreted engineering drawings and sketches to accurately measure and inspect welds, equipment,  piping, and civil construction to certify that they adhere to code and client’s specifications  - Oversee and inspect work on Hot Taps on existing lines, structural steel welding, and bolt-ups, piping  welding, and equipment installation and verification.   - Verify structural and pipe packages are within specifications and client expectations; coordinate with  third-party inspection to perform hydro and pneumatic test for final sell-off of completed work.  - Supervise and ensure safety and quality standards are followed and met by welders, pipefitters, NDE  contractors, and foreman.
