Functioning as 'paraprofessional academic advisors', Peer Advisors work to provide support and act as an accessible resource for new students during their transition into life as a college student. Combining training in Puget Sound's academic policies and student resources with my own experiences as a student, I served as a point of contact and sounding board for 56 first year students throughout the academic year. Working in concert with the Office of Academic Advising and faculty advisors, I assisted students with course registration and degree planning, provided insight on managing workloads and busy schedules, and monitored the academic status of advisees.

Elements Magazine is a student-produced magazine at the University of Puget Sound focused on science, technology, and sustainability. Covering current events and research both within campus and throughout the world, Elements serves as a platform for education and entertainment while offering students experience in science journalism, research, and media production. As the Editor in Chief, I hired and managed a team of six editors, oversaw development of stories, worked with writers and artists to create engaging multimedia coverage, structured the budget, and managed the production timeline.

Wetlands Magazine is a student-run, submission based creative publication at the University of Puget Sound focused on issues of identity and politics. As the executive director, I managed the operational aspects of creating the print magazine. This included structuring the production timeline, working with the design editor to lay out the magazine and produce promotional materials, organizing submissions and content throughout the editorial process, and collaborating with the Editor in Chief to facilitate weekly staff meetings and discussions.
