Responsible for identifying, establishing and deepening analytical work streams primarily, but not limited to Banking and Capital markets. Data mine large datasets and relational databases relating to Banking and Capital markets. Interpreting information and regulatory requirements (i.e. CCAR, Basel Regulations, etc.) in order to define and manage data requests. Developing algorithms to detect fraudulent or non-compliant transactions while performing statistical and economic impact analysis. These in turn are developed into executive level reports and visualizations to summarize results or findings. Writing, communicating, facilitating, and presenting cogently to all levels of industry audiences, clients, internal staff and management.Maintain and manage quarterly/bi-annual/annual controls testing and performance analytics around Journal entries, inventory, accounts payable, accounts receivable, Fixed Assets, Revenue and COGS using various software applications(Python, R, VBA, SQL, Qlikview, Tableau, Java, ACL, DOS, PowerShell, Monarch, Office,etc. )Perform analysis on Investment Banks, Hedge Funds, Retail funds, Pharamceutical companies, Insurance groups, and various consumer goods. Perform analytics around data from multiple ERPs(e.g. Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, AS400 etc) In turn these analytics are used as support on various private and public audit engagements.
