Blake James joined Stephens Group Asset Management, LLC (SGAM) in 2019 as a Partner and Director of Business Development. He serves SGAM in an advisory capacity to individuals and families, retirement plans, trusts and estates, foundations and corporations. Prior to joining SGAM, Blake was a Managing Director at Stephens Inc. for over 19 years. Blake served in various roles within the Capital Markets Group including Producing Sales Manager of Institutional Equity Sales, Head of New York & Canadian Sales Teams and lead equity trader for European accounts. Blake’s responsibilities included managing relationships with some of the top money managers in the United States and Canada. An Arkansas native, Blake graduated from the University of Arkansas with a B.S.B.A in Financial Management. Blake lives in Little Rock with his wife, Kenna, and their three children, Clay, Blakely, and Ella.
