As a facility manager assistant I carry out multiple duties within the aircraft hangar. Some of these duties include performing weekly and/or monthly inspections on safety equipment such as fire extinguishers, emergency exit signs, emergency hazard flood lights, and emergency eyewash stations. Further duties include helping out with facility upgrade projects such as painting, building and rearranging furniture, and constructing equipment. I also ensure that the hangar stay clean of any FOD (foreign object debris) and also ensure hangar cleanliness by use of sweeping, mopping, taking out all trash, etc.

As an aircraft hydraulic maintenance technician my key duties were to inspect, troubleshoot, service, overhaul, repair, install, and maintain the aircraft. I would assist in launching, recovering, jacking, towing, refueling/de-fueling, cleaning, and configuring the aircraft. I performed preventative, hourly, calendar, and unscheduled inspections. I lead the recyclable metals & non-recyclable materials program for the 22nd Maintenance Group hydraulic back shop section. Responsibilities included collecting recyclable/non-recyclable materials, ensuring materials were cleaned and prepped for recycling/disposal, tracking our output through Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, communicating with and dropping off materials to contracted vendors, keeping track of all paperwork, etc. Over the course of my time as the manager, we recycled/disposed of approximately 12,000 lbs of materials. After which, these materials were processed and we received approximately $4,000 in returns.

As a DIFM monitor my duties were to support the flight line. This job required that I be efficient at ordering aircraft parts, keeping records of those parts, distributing those parts, preparing the old broken parts for shipment/pickup, etc. I managed the 22nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron bench stock and shop stock which had over 5,000 assets valued at over $110,000. I also managed the KC-135 drogue assembly program which had 30 drogues valued at $350,000. Over the years I ordered, distributed, and managed over $30 million worth of parts and equipment all while complying with all environmental safety occupational health compliance and management program directives.

As an independent product consultant for Doterra Essential Oils, I help to educate others on the benefits and use of natural products such as essential oils. This includes meeting with people both individually and in group settings such as teaching classes.
