I have focus areas in cannabis, and arts and entertainment. I am a Providence native, born and raised. I am the founder and co-owner of a full service event planning and design company called Black Dragonfly Events (formerly known as Blake J Events), which specializes in fundraisers and social events. We have raised over $3000 for various charities and causes. This has given me leadership skills and the ability to work with any type of client.I have also worked in education for 7 years as well as retail for 5 years. These experiences gave me the tools to work with other people, problem solve and handle business efficiently and professionally. Working in firms and government agencies has strengthened my research and drafting skills. Also, working with children has given me the ability to multitask with ease and working in retail has allowed me to get leadership skills I did not have before I began working.
