As an AI engineer, I develop ML models and see them through to deployment in a production environment via a combination of data engineering, MLOps, and backend development. These models derive conversational analytics that empower dental practices to deliver an enhanced customer experience and make data-driven decisions to better their business.Projects:- Implemented a speech-to-text service that significantly increased transcription accuracy, reduced cost of transcription by 99%, and enabled speaker diarization to segment speech in telephone conversations.- Implemented classification service for conversational analytics that detects participant type, sentiment, purpose, and outcome of conversations using technologies such as Vertex AutoML, LoRA-tuned LLMs, and more conventional ML modeling techniques.

- Designed and implemented automation for report generation of risk analytics using VBA, R, and T-SQL. Managed data storage in SQL Server and designed processes for data archival using .bat scripts.- Using tools to model catastrophic risk from weather events (such as hurricanes, wildfires, and earthquakes), provided risk analytics for Allstate insured properties nationwide. Utilized these risk analytics to inform underwriting strategy, capital management, and purchase of reinsurance contracts to insure hundreds of billions of dollars in loss.- Represented the Catastrophe Modeling and Analytics Team in the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) program. Created and led a book club education initiative for DEI topics.
