My responsibilities include integration/testing of prototype drive units through efficiency, Neutral Coast down , function check. This required developing standard work for all drive unit testing going forward. Given the knowledge I have gained in the lab, I took it upon myself to take on projects to enhance the capabilities/workflow of the area for all engineers and technicians. Universal tests were updated with new features that I was responsible for requesting and debugging with scripters. This enabled reduction in test times of >80% while increasing the reliability and accuracy of the test data.

I was responsible for completing subsystem validation on CVT pulleys using a custom test fixture to correlate with the manufacturer so that we can make sure our manufacturing meets original design specifications. This was a one off test setup in the United States and added challenges that I was able overcome. The custom nature required outside of the box thinking relative to other testing onsite. This included but was not limited to designing the test scripts for efficiency, Kp/Ks and durability, creating safety limits to ensure safe operation while completing testing within a faster timeframe than expected.

I was responsible for tracking and organizing workflow through teardown and rebuild of prototype CVT transmissions. This required an in depth knowledge of the hardware and facility to efficiently and accurately inspect parts, contact respective parties on their part's status, evaluate the need for replacement parts while balancing priorities of various different types of testing and due dates.
