- Increased the synchronization of the two primary application-serving data stores (MongoDB & Elasticsearch) from 99.0% to 99.9999% by correcting back-end bugs in Java.- Developed an automated data expiration process in Python which reduced total MongoDB size by 50%, and lowered AWS S3 storage costs for some specific channels by over an order of magnitude.- Responsible for ensuring the proper ingestion of client data by managing a workflow-based distributed processing system deployed in AWS (ECS, Batch, S3, Lambda, EC2, SQS, etc.).- While serving as Tier-2 Support Owner, identified the underlying causes of over 20 major client-facing application bugs, and personally corrected over 10 of those through modifications to the back-end production code base in Java and Python. - Developed a Python tool which automated Tier-2 Support ticket organizational tasks by interacting with Zendesk and Jira APIs. - Developed an automated processing alarm system and corresponding API whichsignificantly reduced the time needed to identify and troubleshoot data ingestion issues using Java, Python, and Flask.- Hired at Khoros as Software Engineer III during their acquisition of Topbox in January, 2021.

- Developed and published, on the Google Play Store, an open-source encrypted notepad application for Android, known as Locker, using Java, Android SDK, XML, SQLite, Gradle, Android Studio, and Ubuntu Linux.- Used Android application, Locker, as capstone project for fast-track acceptance into Launchcode apprenticeship program which led to employment at Topbox Inc.

- Managed the development of a field-portable GC-C-IRMS instrument designed for use in natural gas exploration.- Developed data processing software, in C, using LabWindows, which doubled instrument precision.- Reduced mass spectrometer magnet weight nearly 50%, in a weight-critical application forSandia National Laboratory, by constructing a multi-dimensional optimization algorithm inMATLAB, and integrating it with COMSOL Multi-Physics modeling software.- Improved mass spectrometer ion source and magnet design, using Lua in SIMION, resulting in an instrument efficiency increase of 150%.- Co-Developed a unique hydrocarbon sample concentrator system for GC-C-IRMS resulting in a sensitivity increase of over two orders of magnitude as well as a reduction in analysis time.

- Demonstrated the feasibility of a miniaturized mass spectrometer with a high performance-to-price ratio under funding from a Phase I NASA SBIR grant.- Co-authored a paper presented at the Harsh Environment Mass Spectrometry Conference (HEMS), Santa Barbara, CA, Aug. 2009.
