-Developed a Shipping and Receiving department that initially handled 10-12 trucks per day on 1 shift, to a department that typically handled upwards of 45-50 trucks per day between 2 shifts. -As a previous holder of a CDL license from my time as a manager at Coca-Cola, I was able to use my skills as a semi operator and become our company’s designated spotting tractor driver. Later, I trained an additional 8 people in trailer spotting in order to free me up to spend more time in the warehouse.-I was a trained and certified forklift instructor. Over a 14 year period, I trained and certified well over 100 lift truck operators-I managed a drop trailer lot of over 40 trailers with rotating raw materials.-I was trained and certified in emergency action procedures including use of a portable electric defibrillator. At the same time, I was trained and certified in CPR.
