Blake's practice area focuses on business and commercial needs including business negotiations and contracts as well as a full range of commercial litigation services. Blake regularly serves as lead counsel on complex commercial litigation cases including business ownership disputes and intellectual property infringement cases. Blake also brings his litigation experience to bear in advising clients on how to stay out of court in the first place by putting appropriate contracts in place.

As a Legal Intern with the Solicitor General, my responsibilities included writing memorandums on various topics, preparing filings and researching for various cases.

As a Legal Research Intern I was responsible for helping prepare the clerks and Justice Newby for cases before the court, writing memorandums about issues pending before the court and evaluating petitions for discretionary review.

As a Professional Land Manager, I conducted title searches and performed curative work on title opinions. I was responsible for contacting landowners, negotiating contracts for oil and gas exploration leases. Subsequent to negotiations, I was also responsible for finalizing contracts.

As an intern with the subcommittee I helped with logistics of hearings. I researched matters related to hearings and reports. I also prepared a daily news report for the subcommittee's chief counsel and staff.

As a regional campaign manager I was responsible for coordinating with local volunteers and contacts. I also represented the candidate at events when he was unable to attend and gave speeches on his behalf.

As a web designer, I was responsible for both the technical coding and design of eight websites for Highlands Properties.

As a property manager I was responsible for delineating conservation easements and lot boundaries for the new phases of the development.
