Responsible for all operations of Cardiopulmonary Ambulatory Care Clinic, Inpatient EKG, stress lab, and Blood Gas laboratory. Duties include: policy and procedure development, regulatory compliance (CAP, CLIA, JC, LDHS), informatics management (Aqure, Muse, Epic) scheduling, interviewing, and hiring/disciplinary functions. Responsible for maintaining all blood gas and cooximetry devices. Performs linearity, correlation and patient tracing on all blood gas devices. Submits proficiency and corrective action reports directly to CAP.Accomplishments include:-Successfully managed transition to Ochsner's O2 Epic HIMS.-Worked with the Cardiology faculty to streamline EKG interpretation for attendings and fellows; including redesigned workflows and Muse configurations. Changes resulted in elimination of backlogs and improved patient turnaround for inpatient and outpatient workflows.-Successful CAP Inspection in March of 2020.-Established new diagnostics services at St. Mary's Place location in Shreveport, including capital purchase, validation, regulatory approval (new CLIA licensure, CMS and LDHS inspections with no deficiencies) , and implementation for multiple labs. (POC blood gas, EKG, and Spirometry) All in an accelerated 30-day time-frame.

Coordinated daily operations of the RT department as well as managing department and system-level projects. Developed protocols and protocol adoption plans, including staff education and compliance tracking. Designed department-level Cogito Quality Management reports.Accomplishments:-Served as Clinical Lead for conversion from Cerner to Epic HIMS; including planning, implementation, and optimization. -Represented SFMC on the system-wide PAC; spearheading the system-wide adoption of Intubrite disposable laryngoscopes and designing evaluation schemes for system-wide blood gas analyzer standardization.-Selected as the Epic Superuser for the RT department.
