The Biomedical Engineering Center on campus is an industry leader in orthopedic implant evaluation and application. I investigated the effects of vitamin E on polyethylene oxidation levels, conducted tension tests and Fourier transform spectroscopy (FTIR) scans on both virgin and retrieved polyethylene strips infused with vitamin E, and synthesized and interpreted data in Excel to compare Vit E infused poly with traditional poly.

I owned a lifeguarding business that provided guards to work private parties. I had 30 employees who worked for me. I communicated with both clients and guards, organized events and working out logistics, and managed all bookkeeping and payroll.
