Responsible for leadership of the electric motor repair business unit at Hi-Speed across all service centers. Supports through business vision, sales, talent management, technical support, and problem resolution. Responsible for ensuring operations functions at a high level, while meeting customer quality, and delivery demands. Responsible for supporting the sales staff through communication and technical support for business development.

I am responsible for guidance and standardization of the field service organization at all IPS locations. I guide and direct with regards to training, equipment, reporting, technician ratings, and customer expectations. I take pride in my past experience as a mechanic millwright and believe it lends me a unique perspective leading the organization. I aim to lead as a servant leader removing roadblocks and providing support to the teams we rely on to serve our customers everyday. I am passionate about equipment repair and believe the quality of work we perform speaks to our character and work ethic.

Assists customers and service centers with challenging projects and complex motor/generator repairs. Acts as a technical resource to sellers and provides repair recommendations for issues beyond day to day reconditions or rewinds. Provides oversight on both field service and in-shop repairs delivering the performance and reliability expected by the most stringent customers in industry.

Plans, directs and coordinates the actual production/repair and sales activities of the plant. Controls production volume, cost and quality of production, meeting schedules and delivery dates. Stimulates maximum efficiency and productivity of both supervisors and production workers, and encourages efficient utilization of equipment and facilities. Decides the overall shift standards and working schedules for all departments connected with production. Maintains conformance to budgetary limitations in all departments, initiates and recommends purchase of new capital equipment, and prepares and maintains production and inventory reports. Meets with customers to propose solutions to their issues. The primary service organization commercial spokesperson. Manage and direct the service sales efforts in the region. Provides the technical expertise to solve problems. Coordinates the maintenance of uninterrupted production, product quality, schedules and repair costs. Maintains close surveillance over operations to assure schedule, work and material flow, proper utilization of manpower, skills, equipment and facilities and application of methods. Provides instruction, guidance and direction to employees who are experiencing production or procedural difficulties. Coordinates and participates in general administrative and technical programs such as: cost reduction, methods, communications, safety, housekeeping and employee training. Maintains and trains an efficient work force in accordance with skill requirements, work levels and schedules, man hour requirements and training programs.
