I recently graduated Cum Laude from the University of Tennessee with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. While attending UT, I gained three years of experience in R&D at the Fibers and Composites Manufacturing Facility where I learned and demonstrated skills in advanced composite manufacturing, material characterization, DIY machine design, and SolidWorks modeling. Prior to and during my time at UT, I worked as an HVAC installation and service technician where I gained valuable hands-on mechanical experience in both residential and commercial environments.I currently work with a team of MEP/FP engineers at I. C. Thomasson Associates as a Graduate Mechanical Engineer performing Plumbing and Fire Protection design for the commercial industry.
