Blake R. Weiner is a recent graduate of at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in history and political science in May 2022.In his studies, Blake focused on understanding the cultural power of American political and social institutions, and the power of literature to politically motivate audiences. For his work, Blake served as a Catholic Political and Social Thought Fellow with the Center for the Study of Liberal Democracy at Wisconsin for the 2021-2022 academic year. Blake was initiated into the Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity in March 2021, and is also a member of the Pi Alpha Theta and Pi Sigma Alpha honor societies in history and political science.In his political work, Blake has several years of experience in working in Conservative politics developed at the collegiate level. Serving in multiple roles over four years in the Young Americans for Freedom chapter at Wisconsin, Blake finished his senior year as chapter chairman. He promoted Conservative beliefs at his alma mater through activism projects and events, most notably hosting Senator Ted Cruz and political commentator Michael Knowles in October 2021, and Dr. Arthur Laffer, the renowned economist and advisor to Presidents Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump, in April 2022.Blake's skills have further developed through internships in state and federal legislative offices, as well as by working on the state level for a political party and a congressional campaign. Blake most recently served as a William and Berniece Grewcock Intern Scholar at Young America's Foundation, helping to advance the ideas of the Conservative Movement by developing engaging social media content that reached the Foundation's millions of followers worldwide. Through these years of opportunities, Blake has developed a unique perspective on political activism, communications, and digital media that will surely benefit your office environment.Blake currently resides in the Madison, Wisconsin area, not far from his hometown of Fall River. When not working in politics, he enjoys reading on the Memorial Union Terrace, watching classic Hollywood cinema, and attending Mass and Wisconsin sporting events with friends and family.
