Trade qualifications: Electrician Started out my work life for Becker Mining Systems in Moss Vale where I completed 4 years of my trade. Loved every second of it! I have gained valuable insight and understanding to the mining industry with 2 years of underground experience gained from the time I was there. Whilst at Becker some of my jobs included: refurbishing old auxiliary fans, building new aux fans, building and commissioning DCBs and substations, various onsite and underground measuring, dealing with customers and there needs, building drill rigs to go overseas, cable management and repair. Through this opportunity to work at Becker I have since worked at SDV Longwall support, where I tested and commissioned longwall supports, mimics to control the support and dealing with customers and there needs. Through this, I am now currently an Electrician with PIMS mining at Oaky One where I am working on the conveyor belt installations, where by my various jobs include: multiple isolations on the starters, stripping out old conveyor structure, wiring in limit switches, fault finding limit switches, installing wander switches, working with dupline control system, wiring DAC and lockouts, wiring in pullwires, panel wiring, field wiring and structure bolting Looking forward to the future chapters in my life and what it has to throw my way
