My journey into the marketing world started when I took my first step by asking myself one seemingly simple question ten years ago, "How do I stop seeing so many random ads when I use my favorite websites?" This one question kickstarted a few quick google searches that would eventually turn into a passionate interest in the marketing mix, something that continues to drive me to this day. My interest in marketing led me to enroll in the marketing program at Gonzaga University, and my desire to get real world experience in the field led me to also enroll in the entrepreneurship and innovation program as well. Using my two year new venture project in the entrepreneurship program as a catalyst, I was able to get real world experience in the intricacies of the marketing mix by applying learned concepts from both programs. During my time in the Masters Program I primarily focused on digital marketing, working on topics such as SEO, Content marketing, Google Ads Display, and Email Marketing. This work combined with my new venture project led me to be invited to join the Entrepreneurship and Innovation board of advisors at Gonzaga University. Always looking to learn more, you can usually find me in a Starbucks working on a Google or HubSpot course learning about a new topic I am interested in. Currently I am certified in Google Ads Display and HubSpot Email Marketing, but there is something new added every day to these programs.
