Blake Silverstrom is an innovative and strategic leader who spent twenty-five years in California’s corporate marketing and finance world before being called to full-time nonprofit work. With a passionate heart for marginalized, disenfranchised, and underserved people groups, Blake has served in multiple NGO executive roles; currently as the Chief Development and Marketing Officer for MAP International, a billion dollar global health organization bringing lifesaving medicine and health supplies to people all over the world. Prior to MAP, he was the Chief Development Officer for Guidelines International Ministries, overseeing global fundraising and marketing efforts to help drive new engagement strategies via radio, podcast, web and listening devices. Blake previously served as Vice President of Investor Engagement/Global Marketing and Vice President of illumiNations Broad Appeal Team for Biblica - the International Bible Society, overseeing fundraising, marketing, and operational teams. Prior to Biblica, he served as Executive Director for Heart2Heart Outreach - a volunteer mobilization ministry that provides one-on-one visitations to isolated seniors residing in long-term care. Blake also served as Vice President of Partner Engagement (Development) for 4KIDS, a faith-based foster care agency that has found loving homes for over thirty thousand abused, abandoned and neglected children. He has fostered 32 children over ten years. From 2003 to 2013, He served with OneHope International in various leadership capacities including Executive Director of Book of Hope USA, Regional Director of North America, and Director of Innovation, where he championed digital Scripture initiatives around the world. Blake has also served two terms as an elected city council member, board director for Second Harvest Community Food Bank, the Forum of Bible Agencies, and the United Way Financial Committee.
