Blake is Co-Founder and former CMO of Purpose Built Investments™ (PBI), a boutique real estate investment and private lending firm. Since its inception, PBI has launched 3 real estate investment funds and attracted clients ranging from self-directed IRA holders to high-net-worth individuals in both the U.S and abroad. As a lender, PBI serves as the preferred money partner for serious real estate investors that buy-and-flip distressed residential and commercial properties. PBI’s philosophy is 'Fewer Bigger Deals with Fewer Better People through Fewer Deeper Relationships.'In 2019 the Stech family launched Purpose Built Education, the education and training arm of PBI. They have since trained over 300 students on the subject of real estate private lending through their workshop Just Be the Bank, and have amassed a huge following of high-net-worth professionals in their ongoing education and investment community, ACCESS Insiders. Blake graduated from The University of California, Berkeley, with a B.A. in English and Creative Writing.

Blake is Chief Marketing Officer and co-manager of Las Vegas operations for Purpose Built Investments (PBI), a real estate private equity firm.Blake’s mission is to constantly improve PBI’s lifetime client model by growing, delighting and retaining PBI’s client base. At PBI, it’s all about quality, not quantity. Quantity will come when you have fewer, better clients who choose to repeat and refer, and PBI’s clients have proven to be worth the extraordinary effort to attract them.The cornerstone of PBI’s strategy is its “share and attract” initiative. Clients are not created equal and Blake is responsible for creating, implementing and evaluating PBI’s unique client attraction strategies aimed at finding more of the right people for PBI. Blake leverages a variety of media to build out his campaigns, and they’re highly effective because he segments prospect lists and tailors PBI’s messages to encourage self-selection. Ultimately, PBI shares and attracts fewer better clients who believe in the company and the values it subscribes to, allowing PBI to also attract the right deal flow and partners.After college and prior to PBI, Blake made the decision to do what he loved most – professional poker. For three and a half years, he took home an undisclosed sum playing less than 40 hours per week. During that time he acquired more than just a significant money-making skill-set; he also mastered human psychology and quick information-gathering in high-pressure situations, all of which have served him well during his career at PBI.Blake earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English/Creative Writing from the University of California, Berkeley. While at Berkeley, he managed a cadre of fellow Berkeley students for Americorps, a national non-profit focused on disadvantaged youth and community betterment. Blake is currently on the board of Homes That Change Lives, a non-profit focused on helping seniors and low to moderate income families realize the dream of homeownership.
