Responsibilities• Perform Schedules preventative maintenance at customer sites.Tasks included areo Ensure all event logs are clean and take remedial action to correct if necessaryo Monitor Windows security patches and ensure they are up to date, either manually or through WSUS if installed. o Maintain security definitions are up to date eg antivirus and firewall updateso Monitor the backups undertaken are configured and are working correctlyo Scan disk storage daily– ie free space reaming, recommend extra storage, check health of raid array.o Monitor firewall logs and correct any issue if necessaryo Confirm UPS is configured correctly and is in working ordero Update and troubleshoot any site specific software – Medical Software (Medical Directer and Medtech)o Setup and check remote access to site• Other task day to day task onsite and remote includeo Installed and replace faulty server and workstation hardwareo Install/reinstall Windows server and workstation OSo Create and troubleshoot user accounts in active directory eg password reset, new userso Create and troubleshoot user mailboxes in Exchangeo Maintain up to date network and site documentation for customer site
