Created a small business with my father, Robert Van Den Eikhof, out of our fully functioning woodworking shop/artistic studio space home garage. The WoodShop has been home to commission projects for friends and businesses, many UCLA student produced projects, and now primarily as a business to create woodworking products and art pieces out of recycled hardwoods.

Assistant Designed UCLA Department Productions. Worked under Masters Students, assisting these designers in the creation of their sets, being involved in technical design utilizing drafting programs to interpret designs. Involved in the process of scenic carpentry, fabrication and painting, as well as being apart of the technical rehearsal process.

Woodworking & carpentry projects, primarily involved making large table tops from solid hardwood boards glued together. Maintained the milling shop for efficient work, as well as the sales floor, selling Hardwood, Plywood, and many other woodworking related products and tools. .

Worked Under the Associate Principal, Andrea Van Den Eikhof (My Mother), on completing an archival project, which cataloged draftings from previous projects that the firm had worked on. Started with older hand draftings and PowerCAD files, into newer files utilizing Autodesk Revit, made sure each drafting package was correctly cataloged. Worked on a standards project, which organized architectural draftings that were often re-used throughout projects such as doors, windows, ect.

Sales Associate was a vast knowledge of woodworking tools, products, and methods, in order to help customers make decisions on purchases or projects. I maintained the interior shop space, which was utilized for classes and demonstrations, making sure all the tools and products were organized for proper display and use.

Designed sets for a total of 8 Musicals and Plays, varying between Main Stage and Blackbox High School Drama Productions. Utilized Autodesk Revit for drafting, construction plans, and digital 3D Models, while physically creating 1/2" scaled models for almost every set designs and created. My Shop-Foreman/ partner and I Co-Lead the constructing, painting, and installing these sets, with a crew of students for our schools productions.
