Plans and provides reroutes/diversions for transit services for special events and planned road closures/openings due to construction in the Lower Mainland. Ensures service integrity is maintained through effective communication.Communicates with event managers/organizers and acts as a conduit to CMBC stakeholders. Attends meetings with municipal or other event organizers, providing input, making decisions and recommendations on behalf of CMBC.Reviews traffic management plans and communicates with construction and on-site traffic management personnel to ensure service issues and impacts are prioritized and that traffic diversions and required modifications are implemented as planned.Analyzes all events (construction, filming, parades, festivals, etc.) thoroughly and determines all routes affected by the event, how the event would affect each of CMBC's facilities and customers. Provides guidance and direction to each depot to make necessary adjustments to their schedules, routes, fleet, and recommends additional coverage and service requirements.Responsible for tracking, recording and invoicing for costs associated with events and coordinating with finance. Produces monthly statistical reporting and KPIs.

Develops and maintains sound working relationships with Transit Operators to support a positive, cooperative and safe work environment through mentoring, coaching, performance management and the identification of development opportunities.
