-Fully responsible for product selection, merchandising and evaluation of key product categories across multiple channels including Retail, Catalog and Internet

-Responsible for product selection, merchandising and proofing of Summit Sport Compact Catalog.

-Assisted Merchandising Manager to maximize sales, gross profit and margin of all product lines, while minimizing return dollars.-Evaluated new and existing product lines to increase company ROI (i.e. quality, profit margins, turns, OFC space, duplication of lines, etc.)-Visited manufacturers and attended trade shows, special events, etc. to gather product information and competitive intelligence related to the market segment.-Assisted with merchandising of new and existing products by working directly with Summit*s Marketing, Advertising, Purchasing, Sales, Retail and Pricing departments.-Chaired Summit Racing Suggestion Committee * meeting directly with owner to present employee ideas for his consideration.

-Conducted sales of an extensive line of high performance automotive parts to a worldwide market.-Provided product recommendations, technical support, and application information to customers, delivering optimum service, including translation of calls and letters from French speaking countries.

Start-Up Team-Supervised the newly created Summit Racing *Bullpen* Sales Training Department (Now titled *ELPS* - Entry Level Phone Sales.)-Trained new sales representatives in the use of the computer system, multi-line telephone system, product knowledge and company procedures/policies.

As a Summit Racing representative, I planned, coordinated and provided on-site direction of all marketing and public relations efforts for Summit Racing Equipment as the Series sponsor.Worked with the NHRA, track operators, sponsors, media, vendors and racers to maximize event efficiency and impact.
