INPEX Permit Issuer/ Operations TechnicianCurrently working as a Permit Issuer. Previously worked in LNG Train Operations. Completed a 14 month secondment to the Shutdown Team. Planning for the 2021 Train 2 Shut, INPEX's first major. There I prepared and reviewed procedures, isolations and other campaign scope. Then took an active operations role during the shut.Part of the LNG operations team on the INPEX Ichthys facility. The plant produces LNG, LPG and Condensates and has a complete set of utility systems.

Safely operated a 150 megawatt gas fired power station in Port Hedland, Western Australia.Here I was able to completed both a intermediate boiler and steam turbine ticket.Running 3 LM6000 gas turbines, 2 once through water tube superheat boilers, a steam turbine, Water treatment plant and other plant and utilities. The stations gas yard also operates 3 gas compressors, 2 water bath heaters and station meetings and inlet facilities. My daily task included. Plant reads/audits, steam and water sampling, chemical dossing, DCS operation, and maintenance activity. As well as plant walk downs and hand backs.

Operations and Commissioning Technician (INPEX)Part of LNG operations team on the INPEX Ichthys facility. I was involved with the LNG trains' operations, commissioning and the safe start-up. I looked after Acid gas removal, fractionation, Liquefaction, dehydration, LPG recovery, gas compressors. On the LNG trains. As well as being involved in the storage and loading areas; tankages and flares and other systems and subsystems. Responsibilities varied from; Unit dry outs, nitrogen purging systems, auditing permits, complex isolations and gas testing, document review, system line ups, Unit walk downs and troubleshooting, raising work orders, liaising with contractor staff to manage SIMOPS and commissioning activities. As well as all other day to day operations tasks and completing unit competencies.

Responsible for safe operations of QCLNG upstream CSG Plants. This includes audits, complex isolations, starts, stops, process sampling, reads, minor maintenance, diagnosing plant defects and raising/closing work orders using CMMS (Maximo). Also Operating local HMI panels. Monitoring of plant, using local PCs base stations. Following trends, and understanding C&E screens. DCS (Operating platform ABB)Responsible for control of work within plant facilities, Managing SIMOPS, drafting permits, involved in management of change, writing new plant documentation; plant procedures, safe work method statements and isolation certificates. I was heavily involved with the commissioning and start-up operations within QGC’s southern fields in the Surat basin. This included 9 field booster stations, 2 central processing plants and 1 pipeline booster station.I participate in formal hazard identification meetings, daily toolbox safety meetings, present safety moments and involved in site safety and environment drills and audits.I also have filled in the roles and responsibilities of the Gas Plant Team Lead.Types of Plant include. Centrifugal Gas Compressors, Large HV Motors, TEG Gas Dehydrators, Screw Compressors, Reciprocating Gas Compressors, Nitrogen Generators, Power Gensets, large Gas fired Engines, Utility systems and other plant equipment.

Coal Seam Gas Processing and Compression.Performed Mechanical Preventative and Corrective Maintenance on plant and well site facilities.Diagnosing faults, servicing, overhauling/rebuilds and general day to day maintenance of Ariel Compressors, Caterpillar 3600, 3500 and 3400 gas engines, Waulkesha gas Engines, TEG Dehydrators, Generators (gas and diesel), air compressors, flares, separators, chemical storage and other plant and field equipment.Used CMMS (Maximo) to book spare parts to jobs, raising/closing work orders. Also involved in supervision and training of apprentices.

Completed a mechanical apprenticeship while working within the hydrocarbon industry. Performed isolations on all plant equipment. I used and developed JHSAs and SOPs. I took plant reads, checks and audits. Used DCS Honeywell systems. I work to high HSSE standards.Performed Preventative and Corrective Maintenance. Diagnosing, servicing, overhauling/rebuilds and general day to day maintenance of Ariel Reciprocating and Screw Compressors, Frick Screws, Caterpillar Gas Engines, Waulkesha Gas Engines, TEG and other process equipment.I was involved with the commissioning of the gas compression and process plants at QGC's Central fields in the Surat basin and continued day to day operations. I was also involved with major plant shutdowns and restarts.
