He began his insurance career with a major insurance company in 1989. Blake’s experience on the carrier side exposed him to large complex ASO accounts along with small regional HMO’s, while working in two different regions of the country. Blake was the Director of Account Management for Premera Blue Cross in Spokane WA from 1999 to 2001. He was responsible for the conversion of roughly 2500 customers with over 250,000 members, to a new claims adjudication system through Y2K. This process has given him exceptional overall large group management expertise.
