After identifying scaling issues, I organized the engineering organization into project-focused scrum teams with science leads as business owners and transformed ad-hoc lab equipment into team-run production lines. Customized Azure Devops to enable data-driven and continuously improving tissue engineering and cell culture processes. Proved and optimized systems that integrated proprietary hardware, software, wet processes, cell culture, and imaging technologies.

Produced Photon aka "GrabCAD Shape," the world's first implicit modeler that produced fully accurate SDFs from CAD data at manufacturing resolution. Used several flavors of fields to produce a unified slicing and costing approach that across over a dozen fabrication processes. Achieved first biomimetic parts and applications through a custom materials management stack and powered one spinoff. Also introduced a custom FDM slicing stack used for inverse engineering of empirically validated infill.

Led the strategy for GrabCAD Print to unify FDM, PolyJet, and Makerbot hardware and achieved consensus across seven disparate R&D teams. Created roadmap for FDM toolpathing on precise geometry and advanced cosmetics and materials management for PolyJet.

Acquired by Stratasys.Let product strategy for GrabCAD Workbench, the first cloud-based PDM system, which grew to hundreds of thousands of users. Grabby #29, employee from about 200k to 8M in the community.

Gravelsoft developed the SpaceClaim prototype and became SpaceClaim Corporation

Assisted CAD vendors and researchers to hone their business plans and shape their technology to meet market demand.

Researched and adopted new technologies and business models for PTC's CAD business. Created new focus within PTC to gain market share by licensing technology to competitors. Planned, coordinated, and launched Granite One, a component technology that broadened PTC's industry footprint and made the business profitable in less than one year. Built relationships with CXO-level industry executives and negotiated strategic agreements such as the one PTC announced with rival EDS in March 2002. Created this new position with management to foster a visionary focus for PTC's CAD business.

Pioneered a new market for conceptual engineering design software and changed the acquired product's direction to remove positioning overlap with other PTC products. Overcame morale issues with the acquired development team and product skepticism with other PTC marketing and sales teams. Directed all product marketing and specification; matrix-managed sales, development, and support. Doubled product revenue in one year by leading a global team of three regional product managers to overlay and educate PTC's direct sales force in the wake of PTC's retiring its reseller channel.
