In September 2023, I transitioned my career in higher education and at SCAD from student success to employee success. With the support of SCAD leadership, I have harnessed the skills I developed over the previous 20 years to support, manage, and cultivate creative talent within my organization. With a strategic planning and development background, I bring a strong understanding of aligning institutional missions with policies, staff development, and program initiatives. My previous experience managing student affairs departments —across multiple international campuses—has equipped me with a deep appreciation for fostering collaboration, driving growth, and creating inclusive, engaging environments.I’m particularly passionate about developing talent and helping others reach their potential as leaders. Whether through mentoring, professional development programs, or creating opportunities for people to grow and innovate, I thrive on assisting individuals to unlock their potential and achieve success.I’ve worked extensively on crafting organizational structures and programs that prioritize individual growth while supporting the collective mission. The same dedication I brought to working with students drives my commitment to creating vibrant and supportive workplaces.Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring the southeast through hiking, working on my weekend soccer skills, and dabbling in clawhammer banjo.
