I'm now responsible for R&D for cloud-based BI infrastructure and testing new tools to expand BI accessibility for Sony users worldwide.I now lead our financial management of Adobe Analytics usage worldwide, including ROI management, go/no-go decisions on tracking, and usage forecasting. My Adobe engineering team has expanded internationally and I now additionally manage BI consultative engineering for PlayStation.com, Global Marketing and CRM teams, and PlayStation Vue, while developing the skills of the front-line engineers.

I'm on the Adobe Analytics team for the PlayStation family. I have covered all consoles and devices, mobile apps, and internal infrastructure, specializing in working with international software engineers.I frequently travel to Tokyo and London to serve international Business Intelligence stakeholders and liaise with engineering leads. As the team's dedicated Japan lead I use my Japanese language skills to work with stakeholders of all stripes, business and technical, in their language and culture. As a front-line engineer I led full-stack analytics development and delivery for PlayStation's Account systems, mobile apps, and the PS4 native layer, leading to Sony's first real-time gameplay analytics and real-time error detection capabilities.I also shipped our GDPR compliance for Adobe Analytics and continue to serve as point person for all Legal and Privacy matters.As an informal leader in this position I created processes to create compatibility between analytics consultative engineering and the Agile development process, served as privacy liaison with Legal, and created robust playbooks for a 9-person Adobe Analytics engineering and reporting team.As Japan lead I also integrated 9 PlayStation.com APAC territories into our Adobe Analytics global reporting system, completing the globe in one Adobe instance.

I established the analytics line of business at an award-winning communications firm with clients like Genentech, Castlight Health, and much more of the Fortune 500. I wrote the Google Analytics implementation playbook, authored custom JavaScript libraries, and developed standard reports as deliverables to clients.

Realtime Worlds was a game development studio based in Scotland with business operations based in the United States.I authored daily and weekly performance reports for executive leadership combining KPIs reported from in-game datasets and Web presence.I developed plans, email marketing and analytics for a recruit-a-friend email marketing for the PC game All Points Bulletin, going from start to execution in one week.I instituted new social media operations including providing direct customer service via Twitter.

My first entry into the games industry was a great deal of fun.I published over 2,000 articles to date for publishers including Ziff-Davis (Geek.com), Gamefly Media (Shacknews) and Themis Media (The Escapist) targeting a core gamer audience using an encyclopedic knowledge of the video game industry.
