Blake is currently overseeing as its Founder and CEO the development and growth of Sniffies, a fully interactive, map-based meetup platform for gay, bi, and curious guys. Blake and his talented team have rethought the traditional dating app experience by creating a no-holds-barred, sex-positive platform that enables and encourages its users to genuinely explore their sexuality, fantasies, and kinks both virtually and physically.Blake is the original designer and developer of Sniffies and its first-of-its-kind map-based interface that shows both nearby users and popular meetup destinations. He now leads the Sniffies team in crafting intuitive tools and unique features that make casual encounters straightforward, sexy, and on demand. Together, Blake and his team have created an app and a brand that is unabashedly explicit, anonymous, and has become the fastest growing cruising platform for guys across the sexual spectrum.

Blake was a Senior Project Designer with McLennan Design.McLennan Design is a regenerative architecture, planning, design and product design practice focused on deep green sustainability, community and education.Blake designed and delivered the Mohawk | Daltile Toronto Showroom -- a high-end interiors project eligible for LBC Petal and WELL certification that opened in June of 2019.During his time at McLennan Design, Blake also played a key design and delivery role on a variety of other on-the-boards or competition projects, including: RISE Costa Rica, King County Renton Shop, ILFI Headquarters (TI), Yale Divinity School Commons, ECOS Paints Product Design, Ecolock Self Storage, Blackadore Caye Island Resort, Project Haiti Children's Orphanage, ASHRAE Headquarters, Brentwood College School, a masterplanning competition in Canberra, Australia, and several speculative urban development projects in Victoria, BC.

Blake was a Project Designer focussed on the early design process (concept and schematic design) for several international projects, including: Chongqing International Airport Competition, Chongqing, China; Unilab Headquarters, Manila, Philippines; Reliance Headquarters, Mumbai, India; Pali Hill Residence, Mumbai, India; Oceanwide City Plaza Towers, Wuhan, China; Huamao International Center, Zhenghzhou, China; SFO T3 Visioning, San Francisco, CA.Was central to the design of Microsoft's Executive Briefing Center Renovation Project in Seattle, Washington.Involved with the design of Project Haiti, a pro-bono design of a replacement orphanage in Port Au Prince, Haiti as part of the post-earthquake relief effort.Was central to the design of large scale public projects including the King County Children and Family Justice Center in Seattle, WA and the Salt Lake City International Airport Terminal Replacement Program in Salt Lake City, UT.Co-Inventor of Ventus Lux, a chilled beam with integrated lighting, in partnership with HOK Product Design.Contributer to HOK's Genius of Biome Report | Temperate Forests.Winner of the Annual HOK BIMie Award for Design (2011).
