I'm the Senior Infrastructure Engineer for The Larson Group, a family owned Peterbilt and John Deere Dealership Corporation, that's based throughout the Midwest. In my current role, I handle deployment and management of our infrastructure and support the internal Help Desk team. Over the course of a year, I've helped handle the transition from on premise Exchange 2010 to cloud-premise O365, the upgrade to Meraki Wireless Access Points and the addition of five new locations. With over 1200 employees and over 40 locations across nine states to support, every day is challenging and rewarding.I greatly enjoy my job and all aspects that surround it. One of my favorite parts of my job is the wide variety of technology I get to work with. From programming in Coldfusion and MSSQL, upgrading firmware on a physical host that is part of our vSphere cluster, to programming routers that provide the network back-end, and adding and maintaining our Cisco VoIP implementation.Over the course of being with The Larson Group, I've gone from troubleshooting front end issues with OEM specific diagnostic hardware and software and all user related issues to growing into my current position of handling more complex, enterprise wide issues and solutions. I've made a name for myself by finding the best solution to the problem and diving into the nitty gritty to learn about the situation and how all the pieces come together.
