The Leg Up Australia is an online business which I founded in August of 2018. The Leg Up Australia’s mission is to give punters “The Leg Up” on bookmakers with an insight into racing and sport. We inform the community with the delivery of educational and entertaining written and video form content through social media platforms, email marketing and our website.In this role I have planned and instituted a social media marketing plan for The Leg Up Australia, increased customer engagement through the creation of engaging online content for social media, developed marketing content such as blogs, vlogs, promotional materials and advertisements for social media, and set clearly defined goals to drive major business initiatives, including increased online presence, brand awareness, website and social media traffic.

In my role at the Bridge Café Windsor we doubled our average daily turnover, improved our online presence, created a great team culture, and ranked as one of the most successful small businesses in the local community through our exceptional customer service.In this role I managed a small team of people, planned and instituted a social media marketing plan for the Bridge Café Windsor, set up advertising signs and displays on shelves, counters and tables, developed marketing content such as blogs, vlogs and tutorials, and promotional sales to increase brand awareness, social media and foot traffic.

This was a part-time role in which I worked in conjunction with my full-time position at the Bridge Café Windsor. In this role I was based outside the office environment, working mostly from home I was able to further develop my self-management and digital communication skills.In this role it was my responsibility to compile, price and manage fixed odds risk for thoroughbred, greyhound and harness racing, compile and manage risk for futures markets, develop and implement trading strategies, customer management and profiling, and maintain the company website.

My role at Ubet gave me the opportunity to experience new surroundings and to further develop my skills in form analysis, and the pricing and risk management of fixed odds markets.In this role it was my responsibility to compile, price and manage fixed odds risk for thoroughbred racing, compile and manage risk for futures markets, develop and implement trading strategies, customer management and profiling, creation of written blogs for website and social media.

My role at Unibet gave me the opportunity to learn the principles of fixed odds racing and form analysis. I gained invaluable experience in client profiling as well as the pricing and risk management of racing fixed odds markets.In this role it was my responsibility to compile and manage fixed odds risk for thoroughbred, greyhound and harness racing, compile and manage risk for futures markets, assist to develop and implement trading strategies, customer management and profiling, creation of written blogs for the company website and social media.

My role at Sky Racing gave me the opportunity to develop my attention to detail and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment. I gained experience creating content for television with the supervision of entire projects from beginning to post-production.My typical duties included line production for live racing and outside broadcasts, on-course production of feature racing events, organisation of on-air talent, the supervision of projects from ideas to post-production, and written blogs for the company website.
