Mr. Lawrence began his legal career with Hall Estill in 2011, and practiced in both the litigation and transactional fields. Mr. Lawrence represented clients in a variety of contexts, including representing individuals and corporations in civil matters ranging from corporate collections to defense of employers in litigation. He was also active in the firm’s transactional practice, where he advised the firm’s banking clients in large commercial loan transactions and represents individuals and corporations in the acquisition and sale of entities and real estate. Mr. Lawrence has also extensively advised individuals, galleries and museums in matters related to the preservation, transfer, and sale of works of fine art, and other intellectual property issues related to fine art. He is especially interested in counseling others regarding the particular legal issues related to fine art, which can be found in a variety of contexts.
