I was born in Spain and very shortly after moved to the UAE where I lived with my family for 9 years. Moving to South Africa in 2012, where we have been ever since. My parents are proud South Africans, so it was extremely rewarding to return the family to the country. I went to Elkanah House High school and matriculated in 2021. This is where I took my first IT class and fell in love with the subject. In my time at Elkanah, I had the privilege of being taught by Dr. Jak, a very well-respected name in the IT and education space in Cape Town and South Africa. He aided in broadening my prospective of Computer Science and ignited that passion within me. He taught me how to approach obstacles in many areas of my life, including IT, with patience and how to be thorough in all my work. My hope is to become a full-stack developer and my studies at Varsity College will allow me to pursue this going forward. I have a natural talent for solving and tackling difficult / large projects and producing unique solutions in the process. I am quite well versed in Java as I gained experience in high school, and I am now furthering my programming skills at my university.
