I'm one of the founders of Newfangled Commerce, an internationally recognized media consultancy. Over the years, we've orchestrated hundreds of presentations to thousands of business people, chamber members, media professionals and Rotarians in cities across the country. From 2009-2010 I was the keynote speaker for a 60 city "Stronger Business" speaking tour on behalf of over 70 Chambers of Commerce and 120 Media Outlets. This speaking tour enabled my company to guide over 19,500 small businesses on branding their business with both terrestrial and social media solutions.Our company presently advises a roster of radio & television stations, newspapers, social media enterprises and magazines across America; in addition, my company has worked closely with dozens of Chambers of Commerce and their members. In December of 2012, I authored a book aligned with my company's mission called "Zen & The Art of Sales (An Eastern Approach to Western Commerce)".Those affiliated with my company presently advocate for small to medium sized business. In recent years we have led fundraising efforts totaling hundreds of thousands of dollars for worthy charities. Over the years I've personally mediated divisive civic issues and chaired a number of successful committees focused on developing infrastructure. My goals include continuing our company's work with entrepreneurs, chambers of commerce and broadcasters on ways to thrive in the face of a recovering economy.
